Combining words and pictures was key in telling the story of Love and Sacrifice. Over 300 images were woven into the text of this narrative nonfiction story documenting the lives of the Reed family based on the self-published memoirs of Mildred Reed, and the collection of letters and artifacts she preserved.

    Bringing the two media together is a hallmark of my work.
